Episode 40 - From the Rothau train station to the camp, the deportees made their way along a path marked by fear, violence and SS surveillance. The first sight was that of the former inn, the cradle of the camp, where, in May 1941, the first deportees were installed as forced laborers in the granite quarry. This place bears the memory of thousands of victims confronted with suffering and injustice.

Today, the contrast between the beauty of the landscape and the violence of its history is a powerful reminder of the importance of remembering.
