The 3 Abbey Road in Rabodeau Valley gives you the chance to visit the abbeys of Senones, Etival-Clairefontaine and Moyenmoutier. Senones Abbey has held onto almost all of its 18th century layout. You can still visit its courtyards, grounds and see its main staircase. Just like Senones Abbey, Moyenmoutier is Benedictine. Meaning "abbey in the middle" in old French, visitors are drawn to its simple church that contrasts with its extravagant fittings, organ and group of sculpted stalls. Etival-Clairefontaine Abbey is one of the best Roman churches in the Vosges and awarded to the White Canons. Don't miss the quality of its woodwork, its stalls' treasures, the delicate stonework and the new cloister garden.
