In the Rabodeau valley, the 3 abbeys route invites you to discover the Senones abbey, the Etival-Clairefontaine abbey and that of Moyenmoutier. The Senones abbeys have retained almost all of their 18th century configuration. You can still visit its courtyards and gardens, admire its grand staircase... Just like Senones Abbey, Moyenmoutier is Benedictine. From the old French, “the abbey in the middle” attracts with the simplicity of its church which contrasts with the richness of its furniture, its organ and all the sculpted stalls. Among the most beautiful Romanesque churches in the Vosges, the Etival-Clairefontaine abbey was entrusted to the Premonstratensian order. Do not miss the quality of its woodwork, the treasures of its stalls, the delicate stone work and the new cloister garden.
