Objects of victims of Nazism
The #StolenMemory traveling exhibition will take place on the Natzweiler concentration camp site for one month, starting March 20, 2025. Thanks to the support of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah, the converted shipping container from the Arolsen Archives is traveling across France.
This exhibition focuses on the last personal belongings of concentration camp inmates and the question of how these objects can be returned to the victims' families today. In cooperation with the European Centre for Deported Resistance Fighters, the exhibition will be presented at the national memorial site from March 20 to April 22, 2025. It will then stop in Orléans. Around five other exhibition locations will follow by the end of the year. Three other exhibition containers from the Arolsen Archives are currently touring Germany and Poland.
