After several concerts where the piano featured prominently, notably this autumn's concert with violinist Lindecker, we are pleased to offer an original format: two pianos! The two pianists are renowned concert artists who have created this program especially for our concert. Alessandro Zuppardo is the current director of the Opéra du Rhin choirs and an international concert pianist, while Capperon is his predecessor as director of the Opéra du Rhin choirs, well-known in Saâles for concerts given this summer, particularly as part of the Couleurs de la Musique festival. They present a program built around waltzes and dance music, with works particularly suited to two pianos and composed by Chopin, Chabrier, Hahn, Ravel, and Poulenc—a program sure to appeal to a wide audience.
