For 4 hours, a guide-mediator will lead visitors to discover the Schirmeck security camp, which hosted 15 Alsatians-Mosellans who resisted the Nazi regime during the Second World War.
Three highlights will punctuate this guided visit: the evocation of the historical context of the creation of the camp, through a visit to some rooms of the Memorial, for 1 hour - a presentation of objects and archives from this camp, exceptionally taken out of the reserves of the Memorial, lasting 15 minutes - a 5 km walk in the towns of Schirmeck and La Broque, lasting around 2h30, discovering the historic and emblematic places of the camp. Bring good walking shoes.
