The Saâles Environment and Culture Association is organising an open-air exhibition in the two villages of Saâles and Ranrupt on the occasion of its thirtieth anniversary, as well as various events throughout the summer. The exhibition will be hung on both sites, in Saâles on a trail of 8 fountains in the centre and in Ranrupt in the meadow of the Stations trail, and will highlight the work of the artist Christophe Meyer. His drawings and colouring are almost 3D. They are created on the digital tool, the new outdoor easel that is the tablet with its stylus. The technique developed by the artist gives a feeling of volume, material, depth, speed and intensity so familiar that it speaks directly to our memory.
In accordance with the association's wish to involve young people in a cultural event, a coloring book has been specially published, and will be available at several points of sale at the solidarity shop in Saâles and at Ehret in Ranrupt.
Writings produced by the writing workshop led by Myriam Dhume-Sonzogni throughout this year with inhabitants of the valley, will be displayed in the exhibition, in particular haikus hung under the remarkable pine tree facing the Ranrupt landscape reading point and Place Simone Weil in Saâles or various writings on the free expression panel facing the Saâles library.
