On the occasion of the European Days of Jewish Culture, take advantage of the Schirmeck synagogue, accessible for free tours from 10 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. Conference visits will also take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 15 p.m. to 16 p.m. To end this day with music, enjoy a concert at 18:30 p.m. A jazz and klezmer anthology proposed by Sorin Gheraliu at Cymbalum.
The synagogue built in 1906 to the plans of architects David Falk and Émile Wolf bears witness to the presence of a large Jewish community until the middle of the 20th century. Renovated on the outside, the central plan building has its entrance door on the side leaving room, on its street façade, for a large thermal window serving as a frame for the law tables. Take advantage of a unique opportunity to discover the interiors of the synagogue.
