The Path of Memory and Human Rights is a project led by the International Center for Introduction to Human Rights of SĂ©lestat, with the participation of the European Union. This path connects the Alsace-Moselle Memorial in Schirmeck to the former concentration camp of Natzweiler - Struthof with the European Center for Deported Resistants. The route crosses the mountain and leads to the Hohwald to pay tribute to HaĂŻdi Hautval, resistance doctor, deported to Auschwitz and RavensbrĂĽck. A fountain is dedicated to him bearing the motto: "Think and act according to the clear waters of your being"... See the map
