Public order from CEAAC. Three primitive forms in cast iron
of iron, arranged at the corners of an imaginary triangle, five hundred
Rajasthan marble particles arranged in the grass. The
Champ du Feu is not an installation that is immediately perceptible as a whole. It is revealed to the eye after a
crossing the Vosges forest. Daniel Pontoreau seduced by
the bare appearance of this site and its evocative name preserved it
to name his installation. The in situ work seems to have always been there, in the space of which it lives and coexists, or at least
appears to have been deposited during an indefinite original past…
Located on the stubble not far from the Tour du Champ du Feu.
