Bellefosse's main activity in summer is its outdoor swimming pool. It was built in 1936 by the members of the Ski-club Bellefosse Strasbourg, who fell in love with this small mountain village.
Located at an altitude of 750 meters, 5 minutes from the Champ du Feu, next to the Ski Club refuge and 200 m from the Ferme Auberge, for many years it was supplied directly by spring water.
In 1997, the municipality of Bellefosse carried out major renovations and upgrades to this swimming pool. With the modern installation of heating and water treatment, it is safe to say that with its large pool of 10 meters by 20 meters, the Bellefosse swimming pool is unique at this altitude.
