The Mutzig rock peaking at an altitude of 1008 m offers a 360° view of the Bruche valley, as well as the surrounding massifs such as the Donon, the Schneeberg and the Champ du Feu. The remarkable summit formations are often made of pudding, conglomerates of sandstone encrusted with multiple small pebbles. The Mutzig rock owes its name to the Mutzig wood which it dominates. Along with the Porte de Pierre and the Donon, the Mutzig rock is a must for hiking on the western slope of the Bruche valley. See the map
