Visit with a guide or freely the ruins of the castle of the Counts of Salm-en-Vosges, classified as a Historic Monument in 1898. Located in the Donon forest, this pink sandstone castle will engage your imagination and your child's soul while throughout your visit. You will discover the various consolidation projects in progress, accessible and commented on, for greater readability. You can also freely play “cercar de liebre”, chasing the hare, a medieval board game.
To reach the ruins of the castle via an old medieval path from the Salm forest house, discover the Salm castle trail (accessible on bit.ly/sentierchateausalm).
