Gertwiller

A charming village with colorful houses, Gertwiller is the Alsatian capital of gingerbread par excellence. The know-how of the pastry chefs of this locality located between plain and wine-growing hills has contributed to making gingerbread a regional gastronomic specialty. Two local companies still produce these sweets today:
