In the afternoon: visit an artisanal jam workshop: Les Confitures du Climont. In La Salcée, the second generation carries on the tradition of cooking jams in a copper cauldron, made using only fruit and sugar (no gelling agents or preservatives). The founder of the company, Fabrice Krencker, is a passionate poet of jams. A real nutty professor of the Vosges, he tinkers with his great machines to get the most out of his fruit and wild berries. Discover more than thirty varieties with local flavours: eglantine, sour cherry, mirabelle plum with cinnamon, wild apple, bilberry and of course his famous Christmas jam. Visit of the workshop and free tastings. One-of-a-kind in Europe: discover five centuries of the history of preserves in the first museum bus dedicated to jam.
