Hiking in the Bruche Valley

67130 Vallée de la Bruche - Localiser

The Bruche Valley is perfect for
hiking, cycling and horse riding. From
the Donon to the Climont via the
Champ du Feu or the Chatte Pendue,
those who pass through cannot fail
to be impressed by the sheer beauty
and diversity of the area's landscape.
Wherever you may be, you will be in
contact with history. Hike in the
footsteps of the Celts on the Donon,
discover the traditions of Salm's
Mennonites, learn the teachings of
Pastor Oberlin or marvel at the
unwavering commitment of the
people smugglers during World War
Two. The hundreds of kilometres of
hiking trails carefully way-marked by
the Club Vosgien lead the visitor
from one discovery to another. Each
is as exciting as the next. During the
summer months discover the
region's "Welcome Trails", a unique
hiking invitation programme
initiated by the residents of the
Bruche Valley. Both experienced
hikers and occasional walkers have
the opportunity of being
accompanied along the hiking trails
by local inhabitants, the chance to
discover the region through the eyes
of the locals!
